Our Story

Every good consulting practice starts with a problem worth solving. Ours started with a very personal experience of moving somewhere unfamiliar and realizing the available help was missing something important.

Chapter One

Where It Started

International relocation services have always been focused on logistics. Shipping containers, visa checklists, apartment listings. Useful, absolutely. But when you arrive in a new country and the boxes are unpacked, there's a whole other layer of experience that nobody prepared you for.

The sense of not-quite-belonging. The exhaustion of translating everything, not just language but culture, social norms, unspoken rules. The strange grief of missing a life you chose to leave. These aren't weaknesses. They're the normal, predictable psychological experience of migration. And they deserve real attention.

Psicología y Migración was created to bridge that gap. To offer the practical help that traditional relocation services provide, but to frame it around the full human experience of the person going through it.

Chapter Two

What We Believe

We work from a few core convictions. Moving abroad is one of the most psychologically complex decisions a person can make. It touches identity, relationships, career, and belonging all at once. That complexity isn't a problem to be solved, it's a process to be navigated thoughtfully.

Good consulting doesn't rush the emotional experience to get back to the spreadsheet. It holds both at the same time. Practical help is most effective when it's offered with awareness of the emotional state of the person receiving it.

We also believe that knowing what to expect makes an enormous difference. Culture shock is less destabilizing when you recognize it for what it is. The document marathon is less exhausting when you have a realistic roadmap. Information is a form of care.

Chapter Three

How We Work

We keep our client load intentionally limited. This isn't a service built for volume. Each person who comes to us is going through something that matters enormously to them, and they deserve attention that reflects that.

Our approach blends structured practical support with open, honest conversation. Sessions might cover a specific bureaucratic challenge one week and the feeling of isolation the next. We go where the need is.

We work remotely with clients across different countries and time zones. Based in Alexandria, Egypt, we're particularly well positioned to support people navigating moves to and from the MENA region, Europe, and beyond.

Consultants who've been through it

Our team brings together experience in psychology, international relocation logistics, and the lived experience of living across cultures. We're a small practice by design.
